With requirements met, we turn toward a hurricane aftermath that echoes our own scars. Initial efforts to put boots on the ground and organize the World Central Kitchen were made, but this small community of 230 people has a long journey ahead of it. With one road, rainwater, boat-only access, and forgotten media coverage, their only hope for recovery is the return of tourism.
